We were delighted to hold our {belated} launch  party on a beautiful warm summer evening! Buzzing with creative individuals, press and friends and family~ it was a delightful, fun filled, sun filled event.

 

We’re so grateful for the wonderful press we continue to receive, and for the great following of curious customers who come back again & again to see ‘what’s new’ in our boutique. Jan of Poppytalk did this fabulous blog post on our event  Vancouver magazine chose us as one of their favourite new(ish) shops in the city for their summer issue. In fact, they wrote about us twice : ) 

We were  nominated for a National Magazine Award in June for our photography and travelled back East to Toronto for the attend the event with House & Home and then went onward to Montreal for some antiquing. All our finds were scooped up within a week of our return! We found a great source for antique linens & old grain sacks that we are exited to be carrying in the shop. There’s been much to celebrate this summer. Our opening made it into Malcolm Parry’s Vancouver Sun column today July 20th (local Vancouverites are very familiar with the legend of his social column)  which happens to also be the 5 year anniversary with my sweetheart.  "HAPPY OUR DAY: A good way to not forget your mate’s birthday is to have the same one - Aug. 10!!"  It will be a BIG birthday this year, feeling grateful and content!
